Michael's Paternal Lineage is CUMMINS. This line arrived in the original Jamestown settlement, fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Vietnam War, the first Gulf War, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Somalia. They were, historically, independant farmers and laborers who served in the military.

The following entiries were obtained from the Hotten book 8a from the Musters of the Inhabitants in Virginia 1624/1625 chapters, pages 201 thru 265, which lists the muster captain, and what ship the individual arrived on.

Ellison, John, muster at Neck-of-Land near James City. Wife Ellen on the Charity.
Harris, Thomas, aged 38 at muster at Neck of the Land, with one servant, Elizabeth aged 15. Wife, Adria on the Marmaduke.
